Membership Chair

Membership Committee 

The membership committee is responsible for maintaining a list of current, past and prospective members. The Membership committee shall be responsible for vetting applicants for membership. The committee shall submit applicants to the Board of Directors for consideration. Membership shall work with the Treasurer to keep a list of all active members. Said list shall be shared with the Secretary by January 31 of each year and an updated list shall be provided on March 31 and as the list changes. The Membership Committee will also be responsible for hosting membership recruitment events.  Responsibilities include retention and reclamation of its members and upkeep of the current roster. 

Budget and Finance

Budget and Finance Chair

The Treasurer shall chair the Budget and Finance Committee. Responsibilities include collecting budget proposals from each Committee and submitting them to the Board of Directors for approval. Budget and Finance shall also be responsible for the preparation of income tax returns, the organization’s annual budget, annual audits of Charlotte Crown accounts and a quarterly statement of income and expenditures. 

General Affairs 

General Affairs Chair

Responsibilities are to plan and coordinate monthly business meetings along with the Marketing Committee and secure the venue to accommodate all attendees. The theme or topic should be universal to complement each member’s interest and professional development. The General Affairs Committee is also responsible for securing an affiliate partner as a lunch sponsor.  Lunch sponsors shall be granted no more than 10 minutes to speak while the main presenter shall be granted 20-35 minutes for their content. General Affairs will also assist with the end-of-year Christmas event.

The responsibilities of the Education Committee are to provide current and future members by offering informative credentialing classes, impactful workshops, and in-the-field training. These opportunities will be offered to members quarterly or as the chairperson and executive board deem necessary. The Education Committee will also organize agendas and speaking engagements for any/all conferences. roster.

Community Outreach

Community Outreach Chair

The Community Outreach Committee will generate greater participation via the promotion of community events and build public awareness of Charlotte Crown while developing opportunities for growth, knowledge and further understanding of the communities that we serve through volunteering and outreach. Our outreach includes but is not limited to religious, social services and government agencies. The Committee must plan a quarterly event that educates the community about the real estate process or provides service to the community through volunteerism from the membership. 

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for campaigns and events to raise funds for the organization.  Events may target the membership, public, civic organizations, or corporations. In coordination with the Treasurer, the Fundraising Committee shall track all sponsorships and donations. Also, in coordination with the Treasurer/Budget and Finance Committee, Fundraising is responsible for mailing proof of donations to all donors, said proof shall include Charlotte Crown’s tax identification number for donor deductions. Fundraising will also pursue potential sponsors/donors and be the point of contact for the membership for sponsorship presentations. The Fundraising Committee must also share the responsibility of editing and updating all Sponsorship packages.

Fundraising 

The Public Relations/Marketing Committee is charged with promoting Charlotte Crown’s brand via print advertisement, social media, and our website. The Public Relations/ Marketing Committee shall also be responsible for organizational communications to the membership, inactive members, potential members, the real estate community, and the public at large. Committees must provide announcements and event information to the Public Relations/Marketing Committee for dissemination four weeks in advance of all events. Each Committee is also required to provide the request for marketing on a form prescribed by the Marketing Committee and approved by the Board of Directors. Marketing Report at each monthly meeting shall include analytics of all social media accounts as to engagement and strategy for increase of visibility.  Marketing is also responsible for creating the order for all Charlotte Crown promotional/ marketing material.

Public Relations/Marketing 

Strategic Planning 

The strategic planning committee will work directly with the President.  They are responsible for helping to focus the energy and resources of the local board to ensure its members are working towards common goals. By working closely with the executive board, the strategic planning committee will gather input from each committee chair, aggregate information and create and align a strategic plan for the upcoming cycle (biennium). The strategic plan will be reviewed quarterly, and strategies will be adjusted accordingly

Constitution/ByLaws Chair

The Constitution/By-Laws Committee is responsible for the drafting and editing of the Constitution and By-Laws as approved or directed by the Board of Directors. The Constitution/By-Laws Committee is responsible for maintaining all versions of the Constitution and By-Laws and the dissemination of the current Constitution and by-laws to members at large.
