As a member of Charlotte Crown, the local chapter of NAREB, you are requested to not only support the organization and its goals but participate in committees that best fit your interests and background.

The Community Outreach Committee will generate greater participation via promotion of community events and build public awareness of Charlotte Crown while developing opportunities for growth, knowledge and further understanding of the communities that we serve through volunteering and outreach.
Our outreach includes but is not limited to religious, social services and government agencies. The Committee must plan a quarterly event which educates the community about the real estate process or provides service to the community through volunteerism from the membership.
The Constitution/By-Laws Committee is responsible for drafting and editing of the Constitution and By-Laws as approved or directed by the Board of Directors.
The Constitution/By-Laws Committee is also responsible for maintaining all versions of the Constitution and By-Laws and the dissemination of the current Constitution and by-laws to members at-large.
Responsibilities of the Education Committee are to provide current and future members value by offering informative credentialing classes, impactful workshops and in the field training. These opportunities will be offered to members ongoing, monthly, or quarterly as the Chairperson and Executive Board deems necessary.
The Education Committee will also organize agendas and speaking engagements for any/all conferences. Our long-term goal is to mirror our national website www.nareb.com, which offers a variety of on and offline classes.
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for campaigns and events to raise funds for the organization. Events may target the membership, general public, civic organizations, or corporations. In coordination with the Treasurer, the Fundraising Committee shall track all sponsors and donations.
Fundraising will also pursue potential sponsors/donors and be the point of contact for the membership for sponsorship presentations.
The responsibilities of the General Affairs Committee are to plan and coordinate general affairs for our monthly meetings in correlation with the Marketing Committee and secure the venue to accommodate all attendees.
The theme or topic should be universal in nature to appease each member’s interest and professional development.
The Marketing Committee/Public Relations Committee is charged with promoting the NAREB and Charlotte Crown REALTIST Association brand via advertisements, social media, and our website.
The Public Relations/ Marketing Committee shall also be responsible for organizational communications to the membership, inactive members, potential members, the real estate community, and the public at large.
The Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining a record of current, past and prospective members as well as vetting and submitting applicants for membership to the Board of Directors for consideration.
The Membership Committee will also be responsible for hosting membership recruitment events, maintenance of current members and reclamation of old members.
The Strategic Planning Committee is responsible for helping to focus the energy and resources of the chapter to ensure its members are working towards common goals.
The strategic plan will be reviewed quarterly, and strategies will be adjusted accordingly.
The Strategic Planning Committee is also responsible for planning the annual strategic planning retreat.
